House is a small 3 bed detached undergoing complete refurb. Electician has been in and completed most of first fix. All sockets are in upstairs and downstairs (apart from cooker), and wiring for all upstairs lights. Original guy was a friend and not part P, and now is unavailable to finish work, so are looking for an electrician to finish the job: Downstairs needs new wiring for existing lights (1 in lounge, 1 in hall) and for new lighting in kitchen (downlighters etc). All kitchen sockets are in, but cooker needs adding. Needs new fusebox and all certifying for part P. The first fix needs to be completed asap to allow plastering to start. Fittings to be added in approx 1 month.

The kitchen oven keeps causing the circuit breaker to trip every time I try to use it. It seems to be isolated to the oven section, as other appliances work fine. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the oven itself or something in the electrical wiring. Could you take a look and help diagnose the problem?

2 wall heaters - that lay back to back on each side of a wall - will not turn on. This issue has occurred before and at that time, it was a broken wire to the main fuse box (close by). Also, the intercom buzzer doesn’t work in the upstairs unit but again, this happened before and the issue was a wire connecting to the fuse box.
