The plastic external vent of the extractor fan of my upstairs bathroom came unstuck and fell to the ground recently. It needs to be put back in place.
As the extractor fan hole is about 5 metres (16-17 feet) above ground level, a ladder that can reach to that height will probably be needed for this job. The surface of the backyard (below the extractor fan outlet hole) is concrete.
The plastic vent appears undamaged from its fall to the ground. It had been glued in place with Gripfill or a similar adhesive. I have cleaned the plastic vent and removed all remnants of the glue from it, but some remnants of the old adhesive on the inside of and around the extractor fan hole may first need to be cleaned off / removed before the plastic vent can be refitted.
This task should not take much time to complete. The property is a mid-terrace house. Access to the backyard (for your ladder) will be via the (gated) back alley.
I can provide a visitor parking permit for the street in front of the house.
