Henry and his team did an excellent job of decorating the downstairs of my house. They put spot lights into two rooms and a number of other bits and pieces of jobs too. Henry's attitude is very much a 'can do' one - nothing is a problem. He and his team were careful around the house - tidied up after themselves - and were very good natured and tolerant of two noisy children! Henry takes a professional approach to the jobs he takes on and I can highly recommend him.

Fairly compact first floor terraced flat consisting of: 1 double loft bedroom 1 double bedroom 1 sitting room 1 kitchen 1 bathroom 1 loo 2 staircases 1 landing and passage with one tall/double volume wall. Walls only required - no window frames or doors/door frames. There are 2 normal size single built-in wardrobes; 2 banisters; plus approx 7m worth of 1m high tongue and groove cupboards in the loft bedroom. Please quote with and without these extra cupboards/banisters. Overall, walls in pretty good nick - last painted in 2005. Only kitchen has shadowy marks on walls from years of cooking. Thanks.

David Simmons is professional, conscientious and a pleasure to deal with. His quote was fair and he completed the work as budgeted and on schedule. He did a thorough and meticulous job (preparing with masking tape, filling cracks and using plenty of dust sheets). The finished walls and woodwork are perfect. He also cleaned and vacuumed before he left. Lastly he did his own snag list as he went so there was nothing that needed a return visit. I will definitely use David again in the future.

In addition, I need 2 small old air vents bricked up (inside & out) and plastered inside. These are roughly 20cm by 10cm. The room sizes are 5.1m x 3.7m and 3.5m x 1.9m.

Wallpaper Strip ( not whole wall) probably needs to be replaced and repainted( it is a magnolia colour) .There other areas you can see that need to be re glued . The second job is the repair and replacement of a section of woodchip wallpaper on a ceiling that has been ripped off. That might need to be removed and repainted ( white)also.
