Metal stool seats require welding to a rotating base

We have 5 stools that you rotate the seat to adjust the height. The seats have unfortunately become detached from the base due to what appears to be a manufacturing fault.
All parts are metal and so it appears that to repair them would require them to be welded together.
We do not have any equipment for this kind of job, and it would be preferable for us if the seats could be taken off site and returned to us when repaired.
