We have a large Leylandii hedge along our garden border which is approximately 9f H x 3f W x 80f L. Our garden is sloped with the only exit to street via a utility room with standard door entries. We want to have this hedge removed and a maximum height timber fence with concrete posts and gravel boards in place, also our rear border needs replacing with like fencing approximately 8m L. We are looking for ballpark costing. Many thanks
Hi for the removal of the hedge your looking at about £300 and for your fence this will vary upon size and style
I’ll need to come and see the job. Looking to here from you.
Cheers
Hi, I have crunched the numbers and for the fence all around and removal of hedge so materials and labour and waste total would be £3200 all in.
2500 completely done with materials
£1570 for hedge removal and 8m 6ft fence in its place, labour and materials.
You need to remove the hedge and the routing first then you can put 2 foot holes to put the posters in then leave it sat down you can carry on with the fence
We will be happy to help you with this and give you advice please contact us
Kind regards
Any professional Tree surgeon would not be able to quote for this job without seeing it first. There is a lot of variables involved in this job that would affect the price. Conifers create a lot of rubbish so how much growth they have on them along with they are on a slope but the main factor would be that they need to go through the property. I would always insist on coming to see the job in order to give an accurate quote.
Yes I understand the work you need doing could I come around and give you a free quotation and we can discuss all the work you need doing and how to put up the fence and the post and the boundary from the neighbours thank you
Can not give ballpark figure as hard to judge the work blind. Seems 3 days minimum time frame of work
To remove a leylandii hedge that large you would need access for a digger to dig out the roots as they have huge roots it would not be suitable to put in a fence without removing them properly.
Need pics of the trees hedging how high / mature etc , do we need a machine to dig out root system , is there a brick wall behind them ?
They cud be 9 ft high but 100 years old ????????
£3500/£4000 asap
Depends on dig out really
Hi I would have to take a look for my self if I’m honest then I would know a Exactly what to do
350 for labour and what ever the materials cost on top .
