About Us:

A qualified electrician, also multi-skilled and undertake plumbing and diy jobs around the house, nothing too small. I also undertake large projects such as kitchen refurbs, full/partial rewires and have multiple trades available. Sole trader, reliable friendly service.

History:

After 13 years with major DIY chain latterly in installation project management, I was made redundant in June of last year. Having spent time "on the tools" I decided to complete my electrical qualifications as another skill as well as plumbing and most jobs around the house.
I have built up a base of local customers who now come to me for most jobs, if I can't do it I find someone who can and that I know is reliable.

Answers:

Hi, you do not say whether the shower is electric or a simple mixer. an electrician is needed to install an electric shower safely but anyone with the appropriate plumbing skills can install a mixer shower, i can install either, please call if you require any further assistance, regards john
Hi, i can think of 2 reasons.
1/ if spotlights/downlights have been fitted this is the only way in a flat
2/ the existing ceiling was in poor condition and has been "overboarded"
if you need further assistance please feel free to call my mobile, regards john
Hi, building regs state that bathrooms in newduilds, with or without windows, must have an extractor fan. this a recommendation for bathroom refurbishments.
your bathroom needs extraction/ventilation if at all possible, as the high moisture levels are causing the mould. if you ned further assistance please call my mobile, regards john
Hi, the shaver sockets, if wall mounted can be placed up 300mm from the taps (to the side preferably) shver lights with an integrated shaver socket are also available.
more importantly, is the protection on that circuit which is usually the lighting. it needs rcd protection to comply with current regs, regards john
Hi, possibly a switching or connection problem on the lighting circuit. also it could be a faulty bulb.
