Hi I've been a 1st and 2nd fix carpenter for 15+ years in my time on site and house matinance 5 years + I've covered all areas of building and done most types of work from skirting board to kitchen fitting to redecorating I can do most jobs to a high spec just ask I'm available even in emergencys

I've gone from a apprentice to a city and guilds carpenter I've been a forman on site and now I want to work for myself and see how it goes

Answers:

Badly fitted bath
There are a couple of ways 1 lift the bath legs and cap off the bath to tiles with a plastic up stand or take the first layer of tiles off put a rubber trim and tiles bk on
Wallpaper over cracked painted wall
Pva glue or a water seal paint
Floor screeding - which trade to look for?
18 + 20 per square metre and also plasterer trade
Do I need to plaster?
No i wouldnt say you need to plaster i would say a bit of filler and decorating would be good
Mortar and render not adhering to external brick wall
I think it was still wet and maybe another coat of pva on top of your first coat
