I've been told that our floors a house we are considering buying will need screeding. Which types of tradespeople do this work. Builders? Any guidance on how much (roughly) floor screeding costs would also be appreciated!
Hi
Builder trade.
And will. Need to give measurements to give a quote
Thanks
Daniel
Masons in the building trade can do this. However there are also full time screeders who can use a wet screed that self levels as its pumped in. Cost wide varies due to the dimensions of the room and the depth of screed.
18 + 20 per square metre and also plasterer trade
Our plaster does all our screeding, we charge £50 per meter at 60mm as long as it is over 5m2, as anything under would be price per job.
Either Tiler or Plasterer or Flooring Company
Any builder should be able to do this work without issue however a quick look online I.e Google will produce plenty of companies,as for the price it all depends on the square meters you have
There two concept on the floor screening
1 dry screed is 90m2x
Plus daily rate and a plasterer can floor screed ..or a floor screed company both as good
Other is unleva floors on a small scale then a self leveling system and again a plasterer or GB be to help with that
