Painting, blind fitting, repairing wardrobes/draws - Handyman job in Alcester

“I would highly recommend Karl for any property, handy man jobs including painting and decorating. Karl was recommended to me having experienced unreliable and/or hard to find skilled, reliable and reasonably priced tradesmen. I am absolutely delighted with the work carried out and will be using Karl services again. Thanks so much Karl ????”
Put up curtain pole - Handyman job in Coventry

“Karl was punctual, friendly and very COVID aware. He explained what he was doing and replaced screws for stronger ones, filled in the wall where the bracket was previously. He tested the wall for electrics and metal and ensured that I was completely happy with the job. He was fully equipped and cleaned the area afterwards. Highly recommended!”

Answers:

The pressure after the fix can still drop slightly like yours has. this may be just some trapped air but now settled. for piece of mind you may want to top up slightly. if not just keep an eye on the boiler pressure gauge and act accordingly.
hope this helps.
Hi, handy hands here.
always prime when using water-based over oil-based paint.
apply one to two coats of a water-based bonding primer and dry according to product directions. you'll know the surface is adequately primed when the former paint color, stains, and other surface imperfections are no longer visible.

hope this helps
Hi handy hands here..
caulking coving is usually wet wiped to remove the excess to give a clean finish look.
if too much is removed in the wiping process it will result in a very thin bead that will readily crack and split. ... if the caulk is put on with too small of a bead it is more susceptible to cracking and splitting.

hope this helps.
