Give it another few coats so the new colour is a solid colour. also change your roller
Sand paint off and apply pva and water mixture. allowed to dry and then paint over the top of it
I would strip the existing wall paper and treat the damp and mould problems first. how ever thermal wall paper does minimise damp and mould issues. but as i said above i would still strip the existing
Priming is only used for restoration or of the wood had completely been sanded down or professionally burnt away.
always light sand when painting, it's common practice time and you get a much better finish. use a fine graded sand paper so you don't start making big scratches in existing paint as this will be noticeable on the finish
