The only way to get rid of roller marks is to sand it out if its a matt paint. Other paint you will have to sand the high edges then fill it flat.
Those are the only two options you have. Its not a gaurantee that you will have a lovely looking wall because it started badly.

Try giving it another coat but applying very little pressure. If that fails then try giving another cost but roll it on in the other direction

Use sand paper. With a fine grit you can even out the roller marks. Just wipe the surface down after you've finished with the sandpaper and go over the streaks lightly with more paint.

This is an easy fix if you are able to access sandpaper. If you access sandpaper with a fine grit you can even out the roller marks on the plaster and go over the streaks with a bit more paint.

Scrape or sand the entire surface, removing all paint. Wait for the surface to dry and cure. Apply a coat of Wall Primer Background previously diluted with water and finish with new paint

Best solution would be to sand the wall, so you can no longer see roller lines and then re paint and even coverage

When painting a wall the paint once applied should be rolled out flat and levelled off. No roller marks should be present in the wall. The painting of any wall adds additional paint hence if you have roller marks you will be increasing the thickens off the runs by applying new paint. The only way to rid would be to sand the roller marks out using a p120 grade sandpaper or finer then applying the paint properly using a roller and levelling / flattening off the paint properly when applied.

Try sanding the high spots of the marks of the rolling until flat enough to existing wall and then reapply 2 coats of emulsion over the top.

Hi.
I can recommend you to use sanding paper P120 and sand the wall, then you can do one more coat of paint. Turn off your radiators during paiting time.

When applying paint on walls using matt emulsion has less chance of showing up showing roller marks and when using soft sheen it will highlight all your bad walls including roller marks which no one can help how they dry out. Best thing to do is cut in a wall first and roll it before it drys leaving less chance of different marks getting as closed to the end of the wall were you have cut in

I think it all comes down to the roller quality and the coverage of the roller should you spend a little more on a bigger roller you may see less lines and marks where the roller has been .

Getting rid of roller marks on newly plastered walls can be challenging, but here are some steps you can take to improve the appearance:

1. **Sand the Walls:** Lightly sand the entire wall with fine-grit sandpaper to smooth out any rough areas or roller marks. Be careful not to sand too aggressively, as this can damage the plaster.

2. **Clean the Surface:** After sanding, wipe down the walls with a damp cloth to remove any dust or debris. This will ensure a clean surface for repainting.

3. **Apply a Primer:** Before repainting, apply a high-quality primer to the entire wall. Primer helps to seal the surface and provide a uniform base for the paint, which can help to minimize roller marks and achieve a smoother finish.

4. **Use a Quality Paint:** Choose a high-quality paint specifically designed for use on plaster walls. Matte or eggshell finishes tend to be more forgiving of imperfections than glossy finishes.

5. **Apply Thin, Even Coats:** When painting, use a high-quality roller and apply the paint in thin, even coats. Avoid overloading the roller with paint, as this can lead to drips and roller marks. Work in small sections, overlapping each stroke slightly to ensure even coverage.

6. **Apply Additional Coats if Necessary:** Depending on the coverage and appearance of the paint, you may need to apply multiple coats to achieve the desired finish. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next one.

7. **Blend the Edges:** If roller marks are still visible after painting, you can try blending the edges with a dry brush or roller. Lightly feather the paint along the edges of the roller marks to help them blend in with the surrounding area.

8. **Inspect and Touch Up:** Once the paint is dry, inspect the wall for any remaining roller marks or uneven areas. Touch up any imperfections with a small brush or roller as needed.

By following these steps and using high-quality materials, you can improve the appearance of roller marks on newly plastered walls and achieve a smoother finish. If you're still experiencing issues, consider consulting with a professional painter for further advice and assistance.
