We have a down soil pipe from our loft conversion, which is leaking at a flexible rubber joint between two external soil pipes on our side return. we wish the flexible joint to be replaced, any blockage removed if necessary, and the PVC soil pipe to be fixed to the wall. The location is accessible from our neighbour's side return extension and is above a conservatory side return, which will bear light weights.

Mathew & Sons were hired for repointing work, clean gutters and drainpipes and to fit chimney caps. They came with wrong size chimney caps then tried to persuade me not to bother capping them. It has since come to my attention that the repointing work is still NOT finished. Further, I now see that the drainpipe is still slightly leaking which he says he threw in a clip (costing a mere £2-£4) to fix the problem as it was bowing and not properly aligned. On contacting him his response was, we didn’t quote you for all that work, and all he says he is prepared to refund is £40 out of the money paid. He also keeps asking me to remove the review left as its ruining his reputation and to date I have not received the £40.
