The switch is in the downstairs living area, 1 switch turns controls the ground floor light & the 2nd switch turns the landing light on & off. There is also a single switch on the landing. A lovely guy, very helpful and respectful. Jason came the next day, gave me a quote, which I accepted, and my fusebox was upgraded and wiring renewed for bathroom light within a few hours. Another electrician told me that earth bonding was required but Jason didn't take advantage of this and told me that there was already bonding to both water and gas pipes. He also checked my smoke alarms, without being asked, in case they were out of date (which, thankfully, they weren't).

I did see the selections when Peabody’s electrician was fitting the lighting but the wrong one was chosen and I’ve been regretting it ever since. I am well aware of the extent of the job and it is the limited pride I still have, which sees me avoid requesting Peabody adjust the lighting again. A quote for the job would be much appreciated.

A second job was mentioned to Joshua after advertising the first. Because of the speed of completing the advertised job, Joshua did not charge me for an additional hourly-rate to carryout the second job – only a small amount for the extra work.

Paul agreed to come back and install an outside power point which unfortunately he has not done. I also asked for certified documentation or at least an invoice which has not been received. Having paid in full I have no leverage and am putting this down as a lesson learned.
