These are both jobs to be done in advance of a waterproofing specialist (Stonehouse) undertaking remedial works.
1. Cellar 1. Remove around 20 bricks on staircase down to cellar and replace in advance of specialist tanking.
2. In advance of a specialist water drainage system being installed, dig out and create a sump to house a pump and dig out and create a perimeter rebate taking water to the sump.

Norik and his team did an outstanding job at competitive prices. This work involved brickwork, carpentry and decorating at a 16th century property. It is uncommon in my experience for builders to be creative in finding solutions to tricky situations and to seek cost saving approaches.
