I have recently moved into this house and the front wall is an old arrangement of flags laid on each other. There is a conifer hedge (3 ft tall) behind it. I need the hedge removing completely and a proper wall building The distance is about four metres. The new wall will be quite low, as it will need to match neighbours (I have a semi detached bungalow)

He gave me a very detailed quotation with conformation of a started date should he be required to undertake the works. He called me a couple of days before the agreed start date to ensure everything was ok to start. On the agreed day his workers turned up on time and introduced themselves. Even though the weather was very inclement they never complained and completed all the works to a very high standard.

My semi detached bungalow has modest gardens to front and rear that have been let go. Mainly lawn and borders with overhanging trees and ivy to rear to be cut back. Dividing fence needs replacing. Timber posts, 4 ft panel fences with arched trellis on top. 8m length. My street has lost its gardener so there may be more regular work very nearby.

Similar to previous review (that I should have read beforehand). Agreed a price and date to do work but didn't turn up and ignored all calls and texts to find out what was going on. Despite initial enthusiasm shown on phone, it seems to be just an act. A waste of time.

My experience with Arthur was awful. He turned up much earlier than agreed on a Saturday morning. He was to weed our drive and edge our lawn. He "edged" the lawn by ripping grass out by hand. I was working so my wife discussed this and some weeding not being done. Arthur aggressively shouted at her. He repeatedly banged a shovel on our paving for being challenged. He left our lawn a mess and the weeds were back within 2 weeks despite his claims his chemical would stop them for far longer.
