Would a painter and decorator do new skirting boards or some one else thanks
Most decorator should take on this job here at S&S Roofing and Construction we do!
It would usually be a carpenter to fit skirting boards
Always a joiner in my opinion.
Hi a decorator should easily fit skirting boards as it is a doddle but depending on which decorator you use hopefully you get a quality tradesmen thank you
You would want to seek out a chippy (carpenter) or a good all round handyman to fit new skirting board but a painter and decorator would obviously coat them for you
A Paint and decorator can do new skirting boards depending on the company.
Most paint and decorators fix up the old ones sand them down clean then paint them etc.
But yeah all depends on the company.

Most probably an carpenter will do them from mdf. They could be as high as the costumer requires to. Same as the door arhitraves.

Any painter should be confident in painting any skirting
If the painter and decorator has relevant skills they would. But otherwise they would only prep the skirtings boards to a clean face then paint to high standard.
A painter and decorator would do this but it wouldn't be vheap if that's was the only job you want doing. A handyman is likely to this at a good price and just as good
A joiner can make skirting boards
There’s no reason why I could but naturally ans decorator would do it
Painting and decorating companies don't specialise in fitting new skirting boards, unless specified by the company. So you would require to book another company for this job.
Painter and decorator will do only painting.)))
The actual fixing of the skirting boards,or "doing" new skirting boards is done by carpenters.
Anyone can do new skirting boards, is not hard at all.
No decoraters cannot put skirting boards on. It is a job for carpenters.
A painter and decorator could certainly handle the painting of new skirting boards, but the installation of new skirting boards typically falls under the domain of carpenters or skilled tradespeople who specialize in carpentry work.
If you need new skirting boards installed, it's best to hire a carpenter or a handyman with carpentry skills to measure, cut, and install the skirting boards properly. Once the skirting boards are installed, a painter and decorator can then paint them to finish the job.
Some painting and decorating companies may offer a full range of services, including installation of skirting boards, but it's important to clarify this with them beforehand to ensure that they have the necessary expertise and qualifications for carpentry work. Otherwise, you may need to hire separate professionals for the installation and painting aspects of the job.
